Yo guys I plan on doing copious amounts of digital portraits. I don't know how long I'll keep this going but I just wanna get better at everything I do you know? Who knows where I'll be in the future. I just want to create stuff and have fun doing it. so here it is...

Late Night

     Couldn't really sleep so I doodled a bit. Did this lil thing in photoshop. For me digital work is really hard. I can't wrap my head around it but it is definitely something I will work on during the summer. It's all in the plan. Digital is a whole nother monster.

Paintings

      Yo folks, here are some of my paintings that I did for painting class. It wasn't my favourite class but I definitely enjoyed it. I was doing terrible in painting at the beginning, but I don't know... Something clicked and my painting was consistent. These three are probably the top if not the best I've done during my time at the Shurrdan.

I had to represent the idea of gloss or shine in the painting above. Sorta went overboard with the white on the toy car though

In the painting above, I had to represent a low light scenario

For this painting I had to depict a sense of glow or luminescence. Pretty sweet amirite!? 

No not really. My painting is amateurish at best, but I enjoy the medium and I am looking forward to getting better at it. Also lil thing about me. I always use purple in my paintings. I don't know why but I do.

Summer is coming...

Yooooooo guys as you can see this blog is getting a makeover. I just assumed that if i put some work into this thing it would force me to update it. I have a lot of plans in store for this little piece of web space and it mainly involves digital stuff. I pray to god I don't lose my figure drawing powers over the summer :( Maybe I'll use those figure drawing apps online or something.

So yes I know I'm probably only talking to like one or two people but who currs. I made this blog to remind myself to do art all the time so hopefully it works.

I'll leave you with my original panorama. I made the decision to scrap it cause I didn't really wanna deal with copyright problems. I just did it for fun, paying a tribute to that iconic scene.

This project was balls. Had to take a piece of the college and turn it into something new. Didn't really work out for me because I kept looking at it as a flat image which messed me up 'cause it was 'sposed to be a 360 view.

Oh wells. It's the scene from Disney's Tangled if you didn't know.

Turning Over a New Leaf

Guy's! I can't find the time to fix up this blog but I will definitely maintain this when school is done-zo. But when a friend of mine directed me to this trailer I just had to pimp it out.

Dang Justin was dope, but from what I've read lately he's turned into quite the butthole. Oh well, I still enjoy a few tracks of his here and there. Also, I have noooo clue what's goin' on with the colours...

P.S on a serious note. I really need to stop being afraid to use darks in my life drawings. I dunno what's keeping me back. Maybe its the fear of like not being able to take off the mark? If you push a hard black chances are it's not coming off. I dunno, but that is one of my goals for next year. Don't be afraid of the dark values. (no racial...)

Not Over

Guy's I didn't make it into my program, and I have no idea what I'm in for next year. Although, I do know that I will spend the time to become a better person and a better artist. I will have to work harder than I did the year before and push it to the limit and beyond. I have never been too good with learning things on my own, but I need to step my game up.

To my buddies that made it in, I am so flippin' ecstatic for you guys. I just wish that I could've been there with you. You guys worked like.. I dunno, people who work hard? and it paid off. Hold your heads high and own it. Psst, keep all your handouts and make extra copies for me.

What a way to start off this blog no? I have massive plans for this piece of web space, however these plans cannot happen at the moment due to all these projects I've got going on.

This blog will save me. This blog will make sure that I make art all the time. At least that's the plan...

I need a way to close off every single blog post. Like a saying or something... hmmm... How about,
